Welcome to Dearborn Covenant Church, a great place to learn free English. Free English language classes are offered three mornings and two evenings each week. There are three levels–beginner’s, intermediate, and advanced–where students are invited to read, write, have conversations, and learn English grammar. You may attend morning, or evening, or both!
In the morning classes, we offer free childcare for children ages 0-5 while mom studies with us.
Many of our teachers are bilingual, so that you will feel completely welcome and understood! We know there are many challenges in making your home in a new country, and we want to help as much as possible. Our current students tell us they feel at home in our building, and we are so happy to have them.
Books for each class are provided to each student at cost.
We also offer citizenship classes by appointment.
Our school follows the Dearborn Public School schedule. So we open from September to June. If there is a holiday or a snow day, we will take the same days off that Dearborn Schools do.

Our Church wants to help teach English classes for free to our neighborhood. Many of the volunteer teachers are bilingual as well, so that you can feel understood. There is a break time for students where they can talk and get to know the other students.
